I'm Abdou Sadou. I help organisations govern, clean and use their data with confidence: governance frameworks, master data, GDPR-compliant procedures, and the pipelines and dashboards that put them to work.
Selected work
An inventory SaaS for the chemical industry, shipped end to end, solo, with governance built into the schema.
An end-to-end governance platform on French open data, where every rule is enforced by a test rather than written in a policy.
A golden-record master built on a deliberately corrupted CRM whose answer key I hold: F1 of 0.977 and SIRET completeness lifted from 60% to 99.5% — measured, not asserted.
High-volume customer data made reliable: quality controls and dashboards that sharpened market segmentation.
A decision-support tool where nothing malformed gets in: strict validation, interactive evaluation, full edit history.
Traceable, consistent network-change history, feeding the KPI programme that cut external complaints by 15%.
I lead data-governance delivery: data mapping, role definitions, usage and access rules, and GDPR-compliant data-management procedures. I design and optimise the ETL processes, data models and workflows behind the firm's BI capability, identify data-valorisation use cases, and advise stakeholders on architecture and technical debt.
I teach business intelligence, data science and statistical analysis to master's students, and supervise applied research projects in data and machine learning. As an SAP-accredited educator (SAP University Alliances), I teach master data management and end-to-end S/4HANA Sales & Distribution, from master data to financial documents.
I built and tracked network-performance KPIs that cut external complaints by 15%, automated dashboards and reporting with Python, Pandas and Power BI, and designed the internal database that made network-change history traceable and consistent.
Technical studies and low-level designs for the modernisation of Algeria's ISP network; configuration and deployment of NE40E routers, S12700 switches and NCE servers; supervision of subcontractor teams.
BI reporting with Excel and SQL for sales and finance; centralised multi-site infrastructure with VPN access and hardened data security; authored the company's IT charter and governance policies.
Since 2023 I've lectured in Business & Data Analytics at the University of Huddersfield: BI, data science and statistical analysis for master's cohorts, plus SAP S/4HANA as an SAP-accredited educator, covering master data management and the full Sales & Distribution cycle. I hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education.
Teaching keeps my practice honest: if I can't explain a governance decision to a room of students, it isn't finished.

Skills
I'm a data consultant and lecturer based in West Yorkshire, England. Over five-plus years, from telecoms in Algiers to consulting and academia in Yorkshire, I've worked where data strategy meets execution: writing the governance frameworks, master-data models and GDPR-compliant procedures, then building the ETL pipelines, models and dashboards that turn them into working products.
Outside client work I design and ship my own: Inventara, an inventory SaaS for the chemical industry, and a decision-tree builder, both built end to end, alone. I care about data people can actually trust: accurate, documented, secure, and used.
